What is an E Way Bill?
E-way bill (FORM GST EWB-01) is an electronic document (available to supplier / recipient / transporter) generated on the common portal evidencing movement of goods of consignment value more than Rs. 50000/-. It has two Components-Part A comprising of details of GSTIN of supplier & recipient, place of delivery (indicating PIN Code also), document (Tax invoice, Bill of Supply, Delivery Challan or Bill of Entry) number and date, value of goods, HSN code, and reasons for transportation; and Part B –comprising of transport details - transport document number (Goods Receipt Number or Railway Receipt Number or Airway Bill Number or Bill of Lading Number) and Vehicle number for road.
What is Swachh Bharat Cess (SBC)?
It is a Cess which shall be levied and collected in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VI of the Finance Act, 2015,called Swachh Bharat Cess, as service tax on all the taxable services at the rate of 0.5% of the value of taxable service.
What is the GST Rate on construction services provided by the developer to the landowner in case of Area Sharing agreement ?? 1.Whether the new scheme rate I.e 1.5/7.5 % is applicable ?? IF yes, why ?? 2. Or the rate of works contracts i. e 12/18 % is applicable ?? If NO, why not ??
You can go for works contract not an issue. And hence the rate shall be 12/18%
gstr-9 column 17 &18 hsn summary please advice me how to fill exempted sales and purchase item?system has no option for exempted goods.should i fill under 0%?
Let that be blank. I would suggest for outward you should show the HSN.And in case of inward identify those inputs the value of which exceeds 10% of the total value. And then show only those.
CBEC issued A Notifications w.e.f. 1-4-18 extending The Basic Threshold Limit Of Turnover To 40 Lacs From 20 Lacs For Those Who Are Engaged In The Business Of Exclusive Supplies Of Goods. Now My Question Is That If A Suppliers Is Engaged In The Supply Of Goods Only But Receives Some Interest From Bank Fd And Post Office Tdr, Is He Eligible To Avail The Benefit Of This Notification. Will He Be Treated As Exclusive Supplier Of Goods??
This is very important question but as per me yes he will be eligible to be covered under new limits.
What is consignment value?
The consignment value of goods shall be the value, determined in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of the CGST Act, 2017, declared in an invoice, a bill of supply or a delivery challan, as the case may be, issued in respect of the said consignment and also includes the central tax, State or Union territory tax, integrated tax and cess charged, if any, in the document.
